Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent Perfume. Sweet and fruity, Mon Paris has been a popular scent since mid-2016. The Paris-inspired fragrance was touted as a modern interpretation of dedicated, intense love. When it spritzes on, it starts with fruity top notes of strawberry, raspberry, pear, bergamot, calone, orange and tangerine. An intoxicating blend of florals are apparent in the middle notes and includes datura, peony, orange blossom and jasmine sambac. Finally, natural undertones add a woody fragrance in the form of Indonesian patchouli leaf, musk, amber, cedar, moss and vanilla. The fragrance, which was created by Harry Fremont, Olivier Crisp and Dora Baghriche, has a moderate sillage and lasts throughout the day.
Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent created his French fashion house, Yves Saint Laurent in the early 1960s after having served as an assistant to Christian Dior and then became the head of the house after Dior's death. Known as one of the most influential fashion designers of the 1960s and 1970s, Laurent created the first woman's tuxedo and became popular for tailored women's suits. The fashion house made its foray into fragrances almost as soon as it started, releasing Y for women in 1964. Today, the company has 192 perfumes under its belt and has worked with dozens of renowned perfumers.
